Humanitarian emergencies otherwise!
The 52nd Annual General Assembly will be held on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010 at the amphitheater of the Gesù in Montreal.
This year, this annual meeting will examine the following theme: The Humanitarian Emergencies otherwise! The example of Haiti.
Starting at 1:30 pm this reunion will begin with the formal General Assembly which will be followed by a conference focusing on the humanistic values that characterize CECI in the field of emergency in regard to development. This is an opportunity to learn more about humanitarian intervention methods of the CECI and its results and outlook, particularly in Haiti. We believe that a conference on this subject will show to our network that it is possible to act effectively and sustainably by working with local authorities and communities, both in emergency and development projects.
Later in the afternoon, participants will be invited to participate to a cocktail offered by the CECI.
