The Uniterra program is proud to support the Women’s Worlds feminist conference!

Women's Worlds – July 3 to 7, Ottawa

Women’s Worlds is a global gathering to advance women's equality through research, exchange, leadership and action. With an expected 2,000 participants from around the world, Women's Worlds 2011 is a unique international event taking place from July 3 to 7 in Ottawa. The conference aims to enhance the leadership skills and organizational capacity of women, promote the exchange of knowledge and ideas and stimulate research and action networks on women's issues.

Uniterra is honoured to support this major event.

  • We will welcome four international guests from Ghana (Adenta Municipal Education Office), Guatemala (Unión Nacional de Mujeres Guatemaltecas), Mali (Groupe Pivot/Droits et citoyenneté des femmes du Mali), and Peru (Red Nacional Promotion de la Mujer) who will attend the conference and present their experiences
  • We invite you to the “Her Challenge, Your Challenge” public networking event (on July 5) to connect with participants and to allow everyone to take action in favour of equality through the Her Challenge, Your Challenge campaign
  • We will offer a chance for people unable to attend the conference to have an overview of its content through social networks (follow our sessions on July 4, July 5 and July 7)
  • We will be at the Women's Worlds Bazaar, a gathering place for people and groups from around the globe to share stories about their organization, sell goods and crafts, and connect

Come and meet us at the Uniterra kiosk at the Women’s Worlds Bazaar
