Carine Guidicelli

Carine Guidicelli holds a master’s degree in communication and is Director of Communication and Development for CECI. Her role includes the design, planning, and implementation of communication and fund-raising strategies. She is also responsible for media relations and humanitarian assistance campaigns.

Previously, Ms. Guidicelli coordinated the Comité Sectoriel de Main-D’œuvre – Économie Sociale et Action Communautaire. She also worked as an editor and communications manager for Les Éditions Écosociété and a trainer for a group of organizational and labour relations consultants.

She possesses extensive expertise in public and political relations at the local, regional, provincial, and federal levels. Among other accomplishments, she:

  • participated in the 2001 and 2004 World Social Forums in Porto Alegre (Brazil) and Mumbai (India);
  • represented the Groupe d’Économie Solidaire du Québec (GESQ) as guest speaker at various events;
  • participated in the 2003 World Social Forum in Porto Alegre (Brazil) as a speaker and a member of the delegation from the Québec Ministry of International Relations.


Throughout her career, she has given numerous speeches and accomplished various representation mandates: WTO Ministerial Conference of 2005 in Hong Kong, ACFAS conferences, CIDA International Cooperation Days, INM Summer School, Montreal Millennium Summits, and many more.
